Old School vs Rocket Chai 20-13

Old school started the game off with strong defense when Zach Daitch jumped a slant route to give them the ball in the Redzone. Just a few plays later they found themselves in the endzone on a 3 yard TD pass to David Layman and after missing the extra point the score was 6-0. On the next drive Old school had another big defensive play, this time coming from Layman who had a 5 yard sack for a safety making the score 8-0 for Old School. Old school with the ball then drove downfield and scored on a 5 yard contested out route to David Bienenfeld, making the score 14-0 after again failing to convert the extra point. Rocket Chai managed to get a first down on their next drive but ultimately turned the ball over on downs, giving the ball back to Old School. Old school went three and out and punted it back to Rocket Chai. Rocket Chai went four and out in the Redzone, giving the ball back to Old School after a penalty and a sack by David Layman. Old School didn't manage to score before the half but still went into the second half with a 14-0 lead. Rocket Chai had their first big play of the game on the second play of the second half, intercepting the ball on a deep pass to the middle of the field. Amir White had a sack on first down for Old School, and after a 22 yard pass White had another sack followed by an incompletion forcing a turnover on downs. Old school took over and scored three plays later on an 11 yard Touchdown run by Zach Stern after slipping between two defenders making it 20-0. Rocket Chai threw an interception to Josh Ross who made a contested catch on 4th down, giving Old School the ball back. Rocket Chai got a sack on 3rd down forcing a punt to get the ball back. Rocket Chai then drove downfield and scored on a 20 yard pass to Adam Schwartz, and after getting the extra point the score was 20-7. Old School then went 3 and out again giving the ball back to Rocket Chai with a chance at an improbable comeback. They managed to score on a big 40 yard Touchdown pass on 4th down to Nissim Zahtz, but after failing on the extra point and an incompletion on the onside, the game ended with a 20-13 victory for Old School.

Camp Mesorah Feathers vs. Ayala Tours 33-7

Feathers Float Over Ayala

The feathers received the ball to start the game. On the first play of the opening drive the QB hit WR A.B Shorts for 41 yard bomb deep down the middle of the field. On the next play the QB hit his target TE Schentzer on a TE release where Schentzer blew past his defenders for a 9 yard score. 6 – 0 Feathers. On the Tours opening drive they failed to convert on 3rd down as the QB was sacked for a 3 yard loss by Akiva Schentzer. Following their successful opening drive the Feathers QB attempted to make a difficult throw across his body which was intercepted by defender Daniel Zacks who returned the ball for a 40 yard touchdown. 7 – 6 Tours. In an attempt to redeem themselves the Feathers got the ball and responded with a beautifully tipped passed which was caught behind the defenders by WR A.B. Schwartz for a 25 yard gain. The feathers continued to drive down the field. The feathers got their second score of the game on a wide open 3 yard slant to the WR Avery. The 2 point play was successful on an out route catch by WR A.B. Schwartz. 14 – 7 Feathers. In the Tours attempt to respond they ended up going 4 and out giving the Feathers possession in the red zone. With a fantastic opportunity to go up 2 scores the feathers ended up turning the ball over again to defender Daniel Zacks on an out route in the front corner of the endzone. The defender managed to read the QB and get ahead of the play breathing some life back into the Tours team. The Tours attempted to use this opportunity to tie the game but unfortunately went 3 and out and ended up punting again. On the ensuing drive the feathers QB found WR A.B.Schwartz for a wide open 20 yard touchdown down the side of the endzone. 20 – 7 Feathers. The Tours were unable to make anything of the remaining time in the half. Halftime.

To start the 2nd half the Tours went 4 and out turning the ball over to the Feathers. The Feathers capitalized on a 5 play drive ending on an 8 yard score on a TE release by Mordy Ostricher. A surprise philly special attempt for the point after was good. 27 – 7 Feathers. The Tours next drive was cut short by a sack on 3rd down by the defender Ostricher. After the punt the Feathers QB turned the ball over again throwing a pass which was tipped to the defending LB. the next attempt was just as fruitless as they went 4 and out with another sack by the defender Ostricher. In the feathers attempt to seal the deal the QB threw another INT to the same LB who jumped the route over the middle giving the Tours another attempt to try and close the widening gap. On the Tours final attempt to score the ball was picked off by Defender Assaf Pearl for a 60 yard score. 33 – 7 Feathers. Final. 

Burning Bush vs. 92%ers 6-26

The opposing team’s opening drive was cut short by a sack on third down by defender Nachi. On T.O’s opening drive the offense capitalized on the bad punt and drove down the field and scored a 5 yard touchdown on a TE release by Nachi. 7 – 0 T.O. 

On the opposing team’s 2nd drive went nowhere as they couldn't convert on 3rd down and punted it back to T.O. The offense responded with a 45 yard strike from QB Yonatan Ore to his #1 WR. 14 – 0 T.O. The opposing team tried to respond on their third drive, but again could not find traction and punted it back to T.O. on the ensuing drive, T.O. drove down the field and scored on their third straight possession on a 13 yard scramble play by QB Yonatan Ore, that let him walk into the endzone for the score. 

20 – 0 T.O. Despretely trying to get on the scoreboard, the opposing team responded in the most perfect way possible. A beautiful 60 yard rainbow from the QB to WR Moshe Cohen down the middle for the touchdown. 20 – 6 T.O. halftime. 

To start the 2nd half T.O. received the ball and drove down the field, converting not one, but two 4th downs, and scored on a 3 yard WR out route. 26 – 6 T.O. The opposing team managed to convert on 3rd down but unfortunately later in the drive they turned the ball over on downs. After taking over and running the clock out the game was iced on a 15 yard run by QB Yonatan Ore to seal the win for T.O. final.    

Aish vs. Pretty Princesses 18-14

TVAish received the ball to kick off the game but the drive lasted all but one play into their opening drive as the QB threw an INT to the Pretty Princesses defense. Pretty Princesses then tried to capitalize on the turnover but fumbled the snap and TVAish was able to sack the QB on 3rd down forcing the punt. Both teams failed to convert on their next drives. TVAish’s next drive broke the score wide open. TVAishs’ QB Josh Brody lit up the sky with a 60 yard dart down the middle of the field and hit his man WR Jeremy Klein for the opening score. 6-0 TVAish. next  Pretty Princesses went 3 and out and TVAish went. 4 and out. After the turnover TVAish took a sack on 1st down but managed to recover on the next play with a huge 35 yard gain by WR Amichai Najman-Licht, putting TVAish in the redzone. On the next play WR Najman-Licht caught another pass for nine yards. Unfortunately the team couldn't close the door and turned the ball over at the 1 yard line back to Pretty Princesses. After a sack by TVAish defender Shmulik on 2nd down Pretty Princesses punted the ball. Halftime.

Pretty Princesses started the 2nd half with the ball. The opening drive of the half ended abruptly on the 2nd play of the drive when DB Najman-Licht made a beautiful INT on a tipped ball at the line, IN TRAFFIC!!!!!, true talent was seen on the field. However the TVAish offense could not move the chains as they turned the ball over back to Reshiet on a 4 and out drive. On the next Pretty Princesses drive you can clearly see that this game was a defensive slugfest as the QB was sacked on 3rd down and they were forced to punt.

On TVAish's next drive a grave mistake by the offense got called in the endzone for intentional grounding which gave Pretty Princesses a safety. 6-2 TVAish. Finally we got to see some light from really any of the offenses as on the ensuing drive Pretty Princesses managed to drive down the field and scored a 16 yard touchdown. The play was poetry in motion. The QB passed the ball on his backfoot, it was a jump ball in the back of the endzone and the Pretty Princesses WR came down with the catch. 8-6 Pretty Princesses. Pretty Princesses clearly wanted to send a message to TVAish. After driving down the field the Pretty Princesses QB threw a beautiful 15 yard touchdown pass to WR Josh Leventhal. Who caught it LOW AND AWAY!!! AND ONE HANDED!?!? Are you kidding me? 14 – 6 Pretty Princesses. TVAish needed to respond and boy did they. When the offense took the field on the next play The TVAish QB Josh Brody, hit his target with a 40 yard missile to close the gap. 14-12 Pretty Princesses. On TVAish’s next drive it only took 3 plays for WR Najman-Licht to get in the endzone on a touchdown catch to regain the lead for TVAish. 18-14 TVAish. On Pretty Princesses’s final drive to attempt a storybook comeback they went 4 and out with the 4th play being a hail mary which was intercepted by TVAish Defender Jeremy Klein to end the game. final.

Motzash

 DEC vs Jay Feder Jewlers 22-20

DEC went four and out on their opening drive turning the ball over on downs. On the next play DEC got the ball back on an interception by Aryeh Citronenbaum, but ended up going three and out after a big sack by Yitzy Devor. JFJ then drove down the field and scored on a 5 yard Touchdown pass to Asher Ackerman who also got the 2 point conversion making it 8-0 for JFJ. On the second play of the ensuing DEC drive Tzvi Greenstone hit a wide open Citronenbaum on a stop and go, and after Citronenbaum caught the 2 point conversion, the score was tied at 8. On their next drive, JFJ threw an interception to Greenstone on a wobbly pass that was tipped at the line, but just a few plays later JFJ had an interception of their own by Devor who dropped into coverage from the d-line to get the ball back. JFJ then drove down the field with a couple big completions and Asher Ackerman blocking two defenders on one play, But Avi Weinreb came up with a big interception off a tipped ball in coverage to prevent JFJ from scoring. DEC then got a couple completions getting a first down, and then eventually scoring  despite a sack on second down by Motti Zilberger, on a toe tap Citronenbaum Touchdown catch on 4th down, and after tacking on the extra point  on a no look flip pass from greenstone DEC went up 16-8, which remained the score at half as JFJ couldn't score on their final drive before the half. On the first play of the second half, Gidon Hazony came up with a pick in the middle of the field giving the ball to DEC, who then drove down field and scored on a 1 yard Touchdown catch by Baruch Apisdorf giving DEC a 22-8 lead. JFJ got  the ball back but threw another pick, this time to Citronenbaum off a pass that hit Asher Ackermans hands, giving DEC the ball back with a huge lead. DEC went 4 and out giving the ball back to JNF who then had three straight incompletions and punted it right back to DEC. DEC drove down the field with a few chunk plays, but couldn't score after Daniel Braunstein had a big interception in the endzone to keep JFJ in the game. JFJ then drove downfield and scored on a 15 yard Touchdown, making it a one score game at 22-14. DEC ran the ball three straight  times with the clock running out, but got sacked on 4th down by Devor, and punted the ball back to JFJ with 8 seconds left, and a chance to tie the game. JFJ hit Avi Block with an incredible 20 yard sideline grab to set them up for a Yosef Damski sliding Touchdown on the next play with no time left giving JFJ a chance to tie the game with a 2 point conversion. DEC got a huge sack on the point try to preserve the lead and win the game 22-20.

Ramapo Rehab vs Sulam 32-0

Ramapo Rehab drove down the field on the first drive of the game and scored a Coby Walden Touchdown and converted the extra point to Aaron Taub to go up 7-0. Sulam then drove down the field after two big completions to Zach Weiner, but got stopped on 4th down at the 10 yard line. Avi block had a big 20 yard catch on 3rd down and got another 5 yards due to a penalty on the following Ramapo Rehab drive for a first down and they would later score on a 10 yard Touchdown catch by Raphael Wechsler to go up 13-0. Sulam managed to get another first down on their next drive, but again ended up turning the ball over on downs. Ramapo Rehab and Sulam then exchanged three and outs, and after Ramapo Rehab couldn't do anything with 10 seconds on their final drive of the half, they went into the second half with a 13-0 lead. Sulam started the second half with the ball and went four and out giving the ball back to Ramapo Rehab. Wechsler then scored his second 10 yard Touchdown of the game, and Ramapo Rehab made it a 20-0 game after a successful extra point. On the 3rd down of the ensuing Sulam drive, Aaron Taub tipped the ball at the line, and the ball was picked off by his fellow d-lineman Shua Tverski for the touchdown making it 26-0 as they did not tack on the extra point. Ramapo Rehab's d-line came up big again on the next drive as Tverski got a sack on 3rd down and combined with Taub for a sack on 4th down to get the ball back for their team. Walden then scored a Touchdown on 4th down, to end the game with a 32-0 win for Ramapo Rehab.
